Fin ao\u00fbt, les membres d’Europ’age Saar-Lor-Lux ont pu se faire une id\u00e9e des diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes de production lors d’une visite du site de la fonderie au c\u0153ur de Dillingen, qui compte plus de 500 terrains de football taille. Une visite a montr\u00e9 les diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes depuis la production de l’acier brut jusqu’au laminage des t\u00f4les en passant par le moulage des brames individuelles pesant des tonnes. Actuellement, on apprend que pr\u00e8s des deux tiers des produits Dillinger sont utilis\u00e9s partout dans le monde pour le nombre croissant d’\u00e9oliennes.<\/p>\n

L’usine Dillinger, qui a plus de 325 ans d’histoire et emploie actuellement environ 5 000 personnes, comprend, outre ses hauts fourneaux, une installation de coul\u00e9e continue et un laminoir de 1,2 kilom\u00e8tre de long. Des t\u00f4les lourdes d’un poids total d’environ deux millions de tonnes sont produites chaque ann\u00e9e. Depuis 2017, des dalles allant jusqu’\u00e0 600 millim\u00e8tres peuvent \u00eatre coul\u00e9es en usine – un nouveau record mondial. Le charbon est toujours utilis\u00e9 dans les hauts fourneaux (principalement en provenance d’Australie), mais Dillinger H\u00fctte souhaite rendre l’ensemble de sa production d’acier neutre en CO2 d’ici 2045 au plus tard et a d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9vu des projets passionnants avec des fours \u00e0 arc \u00e9lectrique et de l’hydrog\u00e8ne. Il y a encore un long chemin \u00e0 parcourir, avec des milliards d’investissements et de nouvelles installations \u00e0 construire.<\/p>\n
